Founded in 1994 by Jim Walker, HealthWise organized health fairs for Silicon Valley corporations. The success of these early events led to rapid growth of the company, fueled primarily by word-of-mouth. Requests for services began coming in from other parts of California and eventually from other states, as well.

HealthWise health fairs are colorful and lively--a great way to motivate employees to seek essential health care.

In mid 2000, HealthWise acquired StressLess, a successful Southern California based company which had been founded and developed by Holly Racich (nee Honens). The addition of StressLess has allowed HealthWise to expand not only the types of services offered, but the range of its client base, as well.
